Tropical Tacky Tourists...

Tim Walker is a hero any way and I always get excited when he has a shoot in Vogue...his April Vogue shoot didn't disappoint...I think what really drew me to it was his signature surreal feel this time mixed oddly with a tropical feel as he brought in help from a parrott...

This touristy / hawaiian print / tropical theme mixed with high fashion always seems to get my juices flowing...take Prada's S/S 10 collection...beautiful silk pieces printed with beach scenes.

I guess subconsciously all of the above helped influence some of my final exhibition piece during my Foundation year...

After painting faces at summer fetes for 3 years, me and my bud Emily decided that the perfect opportunity to paint ourselves for a change was Halloween...

Above is our tribal theme attempt...we were fairly proud of it...although it didn't look quite so good by the end of the night.

Then Em found this geezer below...amazing...the Pineapple next year perhaps?...



Bleach London...

Recently opened Bleach London...hidden within WAH Nails in Dalston..."...is the brainchild of Sam (Tealsdale) and Alex (Brownsell)..."

Sick colour menu...really do fancy the dark roots, blonde hair and subtle pink dip dyed ends...so cool.
